How to Get a 6 Pack That Will Drive Women Wild

Six pack abs are one of the sexiest things a man can have on his body. They are a sign of ultimate vitality and fitness and just scream “look at how sexy I am!” If you are one of those people looking for ways to get a 6 pack, stick with me and I will show you how to get a 6 pack.

Let’s start by talking about how your body builds muscle. We need to do that because your abdominal muscles really aren’t any different than any other muscle in your body. When you work a muscle really hard for a short period of time, usually by lifting a heavy weight around 10 times, your body’s natural response is to grow bigger muscles that can handle the short term duration. When you do an exercise many times, but without a lot of weight, your body responds by building strong but lean muscles that can handle long term exertion. Just think of a sprinter versus a marathon runner. Both are very strong, but in different ways. If you really want to know how to get a six pack, the first step is getting big powerful muscles like the sprinter. If you happen to want a flat, tone stomach, you will need to build muscles that are strong with a lot of endurance like the marathon runner.

Ok, now that we have that out of the way, here are a few exercises that will help you get a six pack. The first exercise we are going to talk about is the crunch you are surely familiar with. Grab a weight plate and start working out. You can hold the weight on your chest, behind your head, or if you really want a workout you can hold it above your head with your arms extended. Try to use a weight and position that allows you to only to 10 to 15 crunches before you can’t do any more. Try doing 2 or 3 sets of these. When you are done, you should really feel it. If you don’t, you need more weight. Another good exercise is suspended knee or leg raises. You start by suspending yourself then raise your knees until your thighs are parallel to the floor. If you are flexible and strong enough, you can keep your legs straight and and raise them until your whole leg is parallel to the floor. Adding ankle weights to this exercise will really increase the intensity, but just focusing on doing this exercise in a controlled manner will take you quite a while to master. There are tons of other exercises out there that you can do so pick ones that you like and can do in a controlled manner. Remember, if you really want to know how to get a 6 pack, the key is intense workouts that work your muscles to exhaustion quickly.

The last part of knowing how to get a 6 pack is to understand your body fat percentage. The amount of body fat you have will determine whether you have a six pack or a beer belly. I think everybody is different so I am not going to tell you that you need to be at a certain body fat percentage to have a six pack, but you certainly won’t have a six pack with 15% to 20% body fat which is where most people are at. Focus on eating a healthy diet and reducing your calorie intake and you will start to see your six pack emerge as the pounds melt off. Find a diet that works for you and go with it. Be positive and focused on your goal and you will get there.

Before you start any exercise or diet program, you should check with your doctor to make sure there aren’t any health issues you need to consider. Most likely, there aren’t any, but it is better to be safe than sorry.
